The 2019 Foreshore Small Bike Run

Peter DeJong’s Annual 2019 Foreshore Small Bike Run

Glandore to Semaphore via Somerton

Sunday 7th April 2019

This run is for all British bikes and Peter has designed this run especially for small bikes in the club. We will meander along the coast, passing some of the most beautiful beaches in South Australia, with speed limits that will not exceed 60kms per hour. This is a great opportunity for a relaxing day and to bring out the bikes for a short burst, blow off the cobwebs, and show they still have life in them! So bring them out!

The Run will start from the Glandore club rooms at 9.30 am departing at 10.00am

Café de Wheels is back for this unique ride, and we will stop on the way to our destination for morning tea, utilizing our well known Ute.

If we are running on time, our final destination is the Birkenhead Tavern overlooking the beautiful and historical Port Wharf Docks. Otherwise, if we are running slightly earlier, we will continue the run through to Outer Harbor and then on to the Birkenhead Tavern for an enjoyable lunch, with good food, good wine and great company. This is where the ride will end.
